RUMBLE 3rd Progress Review Meeting in Saint-Cyr-l'École, France

The RUMBLE 3rd Progress Review Meeting was successfully held on the 20th and 21st of June 2019 in Saint-Cyr-l'École, France.

The two-day meeting was hosted by Sorbonne University at the Institut Jean Le Rond d'Alembert, bringing together the RUMBLE consortium partners and the European Commission Project Officer.

The main objective of the 3rd Progress Review Meeting was to present the scientific and technical achievements of the project during the past months and provide sufficient information to allow the EC to perform the project assessment against the applicable Description of Work. Furthermore, this midterm meeting provided the opportunity for extensive discussions and exchange of ideas among the partners on their future activities.

The RUMBLE partners also participated in a demonstration of the sonic boom simulator, which will be used to investigate the effects of low sonic boom.

In the end of the meeting, the European Commission Project Officer provided valuable feedback to the RUMBLE partners and concluded that important work has been performed during this period.
